  • Evaluating Research Performance: Enables a detailed analysis of the institution’s overall research output, publication counts, citation impact, collaboration networks, and funded projects. This makes it easy to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Benchmarking and Comparison: Provides the ability to compare research performance with similar national and international institutions. This helps universities determine their position and gain a competitive advantage.
  • Strategic Planning and Decision-Making: With the data obtained, strategic decisions—such as setting research priorities, investing in new research areas, or strengthening existing programs—can be made on a more solid foundation.
  • Identifying Collaboration Opportunities: Identifies highly cited researchers, institutions, or subject areas, revealing potential collaboration opportunities. This contributes to the development of national and international partnerships.
  • Strengthening Funding Applications: Demonstrating research outputs and impact enhances the institution’s reputation among funding bodies and enables stronger arguments in funding applications.
  • Recognizing and Supporting Researchers: Helps identify high-performing researchers and groups within the institution, supporting the development of incentive and support mechanisms.
  • Highlighting Areas of Expertise: Provides detailed analyses showing the institution’s strengths and areas of specialization.

SciVal_Core, within the scope of our agreement, consists of the following four main modules:

  • OverView: Provides a quick overview of the institution’s overall research performance.
  • Benchmarking: Conducts comparative analyses with other institutions, groups, or countries.
  • Collaboration: Shows collaboration networks and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Trends: Tracks current trends and developments in specific research topics.

SciVal should be considered an important tool for maximizing our university’s research potential, increasing its international visibility, and achieving its strategic goals.
