Membership Procedures
Access-Only Membership
They can use services and resources within the library; they cannot borrow materials. Graduate students, research assistants, and instructors can only apply for access-only membership. Our alumni can enter the library with their alumni card and can also apply for borrowing membership.
Borrowing Membership
They can use services and resources within the library; they can borrow up to four materials. Our alumni, faculty members, and commercial and industrial organizations can apply for borrowing membership.
Required Documents for Membership
Every registered user is considered to have committed to abiding by the rules of Boğaziçi University Library. Members are issued a photo ID card when they come to the library with the following documents. The membership card must be shown at every entrance to the library. All memberships are valid for 1 year.
- 1 photograph
- Alumni card or photocopy of diploma for BOUN alumni
- University ID card
The form and the receipt showing the payment of the membership fee must be emailed to circ@bogazici.edu.tr.
