SAGE Open Access (OA)
Dear Members of the University,
Under the 2026 agreement for the SAGE Premier Journals database, to which our university subscribes through the Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS), eligible authors are entitled to certain Open Access (OA) publishing benefits.
The SAGE Open Access (OA) journal package is offered through the SAGE Choice program, covering approximately 95% of SAGE journals. For authors affiliated with ANKOS member institutions that subscribe to SAGE, the Article Processing Charge (APC) has been reduced from GBP 3,000–4,000 to GBP 200.
This fee may be paid by the author, the institution, or another funding organization. SAGE also offers alternative invoicing and payment options for institutions and authors. Authors from ANKOS member institutions will automatically receive the discounted APC rate when submitting their manuscripts through the submission system.
Note: (Gold Open Access) journals are not covered by this agreement. The standard APC applicable to each individual journal will apply.
