Sketch Engine is used by linguists, lexicographers, translators, students, and teachers. It is a preferred database of worldwide publishers, universities, translation agencies, and national language institutes.

Chinese Greek, Thai Latin Bengali Sketch Engine currently works with over 100 languages and more than 30 writing systems (Latin, Cyrillic, Chinese, Thai, Bengali, Thai, etc.).

Their algorithm analyzes real texts (text corpora) consisting of billions of words to instantly determine what is typical in the language and what is rare, unusual, or new usage. It is also designed for text analysis or text mining applications.
