New Journals Have Been Added to the Oxford University Press Read&Publish Agreement!
About the Read and Publish Agreement with Oxford:
13 new journals, the information of which is included in the appendix, have been added to the 2026 Journals collection. (Journal List is included.)
Corresponding Authors affiliated with Boğaziçi University will be able to publish unlimited open access publications in the Hybrid journals included in the Oxford Journals Online 2026 Journal Collection in the publication types "research article, review article, brief report, case report" without charging an Article Processing Fee (APC).
*Depending on journal policy; Additional charges such as page charges, color charges, submission fee, excess page charges, offprint charges are outside the scope of the Read & Publish agreement. The "Instructions to Authors" page of the journal must be checked by the responsible authors before submitting the publication.
Open Access journals were not included in the proposal by the publishing house due to their high costs.
The new Hybrid Journals joining the 2026 Oxford Journals Online journal collection are included in the R&P agreement.
The 14 journals whose information you can see in the list that became Hybrid and Open Access between 2023 and 2025 will continue to remain within the R&P agreement. Titles that transitioned from Hybrid to Open Access during the 3-year agreement were included in the R&P agreement.
The 15% APC discount applied to publications in Open Access journals will continue to be applied as 25%.
